Data Spaces Support Centre
Description
The Data Spaces Support Centre (DSSC) is a key initiative of the European Union, designed to accelerate the development and adoption of common European data spaces across sectors. Funded by the European Commission under the Digital Europe Programme, the DSSC provides guidance, blueprints, and technical frameworks to enable interoperable, sovereign, and trustworthy data sharing in alignment with EU values and policies.
Bringing together industry experts, researchers, and stakeholders, the DSSC supports both the design and implementation of sector-specific data spaces — from health and mobility to energy, agriculture, and manufacturing. Its work fosters collaboration, data interoperability, and innovation across Europe’s digital economy.
Through knowledge-sharing, best practices, and stakeholder engagement, the DSSC plays a central role in building the European data economy — empowering ecosystems to create value from data while maintaining sovereignty, trust, and compliance.
