This 60-minute collaborative session, co-hosted by LUMI AI Factory and FAIR (Finnish AI Region), focuses on Trustworthy AI within the EU AI ecosystem. The session will open with five lightning talks, followed by a panel discussion featuring experts from LUMI AI Factory, FAIR, academia, and industry.

The discussion will explore practical approaches to implementing trustworthy AI, including governance, transparency, and ethical considerations. By bringing together multiple stakeholders from the Finnish and European AI ecosystems, the session highlights the importance of building trust as a foundation for innovation.

Beyond ethics, the session will examine how trustworthy AI can serve as a strategic enabler for European competitiveness, strengthening our region’s capacity to develop cutting-edge AI solutions that are both responsible and globally competitive. Participants will gain insights into how collaborative initiatives like AI Factories and European digital innovation hubs (EDIH's) can accelerate adoption, foster innovation, and ensure Europe remains at the forefront of AI development.
